"Clark?"
Lex always announced himself. Too many years climbing loft stairs and not knowing what was waiting for him at the top. Sometimes, he still had that same feeling walking into their bedroom.
"You're not ready?"
"You're making me wear a bowtie. That's an extra ten minutes right there."
"Half of which you spent prinking in front of the mirror." Lex took the tie from Clark, knotting it swiftly.
"That a Lex word?"
"Are there any others?" Lex pulled Clark in for a kiss. "You need to learn how to tie this thing, Clark," he murmured.
"No, Lex, I don't."
