"Hi."
Lex manages to make the word new every time he says it. Clark wonders if it's a talent practiced at fundraisers, or something Lex does without thinking. The same way Clark doesn't let himself think about the motel crumbling around them.
"Hi."
They fall on the bed. Clark's not sure how, but Lex lands on top with a bite, a thrust, and a bit of a twist. It's a new move and it makes Clark shout.
It doesn't bother him, seeing Lex and Lena together. Clark just doesn't let himself think about the new moves Lex takes home to her.
