Challenge: my computer is broken. So is something in your drabble.
One of Those Days
Stepping into Clark's office is stepping into a war zone. Lex has to follow the harsh clacking of a typewriter just to find him. There are dirty dishes on every surface not covered in open books and newspaper clippings. There's Clark's laptop, in five pieces, on the floor. It smells like he hasn't showered in days. Lex runs a hand through Clark’s tangled mop and knows he shouldn’t have left.
"Sorry." Clark stares up, slow-eyed. "It's just, my laptop died and I had this story due and I'm not even sure what day it is."
Lex kisses him, saying, "Thursday."
